Tucked away in the hills above Bailey, Colorado lies a mountain retreat.  A cozy getaway ideal for groups and families. The main house offers traditional log cabin charm and main living areas. The workshop (multipurpose room) is located on the second story of the detached garage and has been set up as a multi-purpose room and crafting workshop complete with 8 workstations. The workshop space is included in the rental rate for Thursday-Sunday private retreat rentals. It is offered at an additional rate for vacation rental groups. The Gingerbread Cottage is just 30 miles from Denver’s C470 via Hwy 285.

The cottage is available for private rental any day of the week. Periodically throughout the year, we offer hosted retreat weekends where individuals can enjoy the amenities of the cottage.

If you haven’t done so already, we highly recommend joining our mailing list. This way you’ll stay connected with everything being offered at the cottage. We typically send out a monthly newsletter and an occasional e-mail in between with some opportunities that might come up.

  • November 26-December 7  (2-night minimum, $200/night for no more than 6 guests or $275/night for 7-8 guests, plus $250 cleaning fee)

HOSTED RETREAT OPPORTUNITIES:

Join us for a hosted retreat! These are great opportunities for individuals or small groups to retreat at the cottage. Each retreat is open to any type of crafter (women only 18 years of age and older).  We are currently accepting registrations for 2026 retreats. 

2026 PRICES AND INCLUSIONS – Registration includes all meals (except lunch on Thursday), a 4′ workstation (8ft tables are available for $75 more), snacks, beverages and lodging. Registration is $250/person for a Thursday-Sunday stay or $200/person for Friday-Sunday.  Payment can be made by check, Venmo or Zelle.  A $75 non-refundable deposit is due within 7 days of registering. Remaining balance is due a month before the retreat.
